Knife sharpening

Knife sharpening services. We sharpen all kinds and makes of knives. We can provide a mobile service to your premises, a national service via our website and the mail. We also provide a drop in service at our premises. We offer services to restaurants, caterers and private households. Please contact us for prices of the drop in and mobile services.

All knives are sharpened on a professional TruHone machine, providing the correct blades angles for the individual blade and equal bevels to ensure of a straight cut.

Please ensure that you knives are packed safely and your address on the back of the package to ensure a safe return if for some reason they have to be returned before they get to us.

Your knives will be boxed and returned to you after sharpening, all prices include VAT and return P&P. For all orders of £80 or more, we will cover the return costs of postage and insurance, this will be 1st class recorded delivery with the appropriate insurance cover and depending on value could be next day delivery. For higher valued items and heavier weights, these will be sent by courier.

If you wish to to have extra insurance cover for your return postage (orders of less than £80) of cover value of up to £500 please add on £5.40 if you are sending a cheque, we recommend this when sending larger quantities of knives. or knives of high value. If you are paying on the website, this option is available at the bottom of the page.

How to pay

The Sharpening Company uses PayPal to accept secure payment online. Please select the product that you want from the table below and select Add to Cart. You will then see a new window open in PayPal showing your checkout. On this page you can adjust quantities and return to this page to add more items.

If you are sending payment with your knives, it would be helpful to yourselves and us if you could phone or email to confirm your order, thank you.
